I love my fixie. I ride it everyday through the barren state of New Mexico. It has never once let me down. I've had it for years. I recently purchased a rack, and bag, and other stuff I needed for the bike. Although there was a mix-up with my order, the customer service guy (I think his name was Austin) helped me out immensely. The reason why I got the fixie in the first place was because I hate things that are prone to failing. Like gear systems, or what have you. My Coolidge is the best bike I've ever owned. And to be fair, I'd probably be inclined to buy one of the 3-speeds. I was looking for a bike, not only for pleasure, but for transportation. My PureFix turns heads, and it always gets me to work on time .
