Custom Bikes: Matt Heafy

The only thing we like more than getting buds on bikes is whipping up custom creations so our whole crew can cruise on the coolest. Going nuts with customization is also how we stumble upon some awesome design ideas to roll into production, so you can imagine our excitement when Matt Heafy of Trivium rang us up for something unique; a bike that's a little bit urban, a little bit understated, and a whole lot of black!

After tearing down a Bourbon and a Cass, we built up this matte black beaut' from the pieces! Silver accents keep it from being too monochromatic, and we definitely expect to see those blacked-out bars and stems start making their way to other models - they just look too sick not to spread.

We owe a huge thanks to Matt for the inspiration (and the music) and his wife, Ashley, for the awesome photos. We can't wait to see where they ride first!
