Lamb of Cog
Life on the road can be taxing, even for the most hardy and seasoned musician. Chris Adler, the drummer for the legendary metal band Lamb of God and touring drummer for Megadeth knows that better than most. He also knows that a bike ride can set him right; relaxing his mind while working out the excess energy and stress that builds up on tour.
At home Chris runs and rides everyday, making fitness a priority in his busy rock star lifestyle. That's why we were stoked when Chris reached out on the LA leg of Lamb of God's tour to pick up a custom designed Pure Fix Original!
Chris took a matte black Juliet and added a yellow chain, yellow grips and red machined pro wheels. Chris also upgraded the rear wheel with a Siva Atom to keep his gadgets charged while putting miles under his wheels. To top off Chris's custom ride we added the logos of the heavy metal bands he drums for on the down tube.
Pure Fix Art Director Phil Barlow is also a serious metal fan and couldn't pass up the chance to hang with Adler, so we headed over to see Chris at Lamb of God's performance on Jimmy Kimmel and to deliver the bike! Lamb of God rocked, the live audience went berserk and, when the dust settled, we caught up with Chris as the roadies packed up the truck for their next show in Vegas.
Chris couldn't wait to hop on the new bike and even did a few laps up and down the alley, getting a feel for his new tour ride before it was packed into the truck with the rest of the band's gear.
Rock on Chris and welcome to the Pure Fix family!
